Health Program

Health officials and policymakers need accurate, timely, and trustworthy data to make lifesaving decisions. Communities need clear, accessible information to help guide their actions. USDR's Health Program helps state and local governments meet the urgency of the COVID-19 crisis using our existing rapid response model to deliver fast and free support.

Our experienced, pro bono team is focusing efforts on the following topics:

Research and Rapid Response

  • Vendor Selection and Recommendations
USDR has evaluated common vendors that address different aspects of public health operations to help governments select the right vendor based on their needs, budget, and residents. Our team can also help adapt vendor solutions to find solutions that flexibly meet your needs.
  • COVID Communications Strategy
Tangible to-dos for trustworthy communications, including implementing best practices for design, partnership, and outreach, grounded with the views and experiences of at-risk and vulnerable communities. Access the research and recommendations here.
  • Large-Scale Knowledge Sharing
Based on engagements with partners across the country and access to expert user researchers, USDR can help distill and prioritize the most common blockers, questions, and needs, ultimately serving as a neutral third party to help facilitate after action reviews for learning.
