In 2023, U.S. Digital Response (USDR) was the year we truly saw our seeds begin to blossom. Our team has grown to over 30 staff members, and nearly 9,000 people have raised their hand to join our volunteer community. Through our partnerships with more than 350 government teams from across the country, we’ve helped build capacity to deliver good government on over 400 projects since March 2020.

This last year, we saw more and more governments taking bigger strides in delivering equitable, accessible services. We are humbled to be part of this effort alongside devoted public servants, volunteers, staff, partners, and supporters. Together, we are shaping a more responsive and technologically adept government capable of meeting community needs now and in the future.

This is our fourth “In Review” report, reflecting on how our community came together and responded at the speed of need over the past year. Read on for a look back at the initiatives, collaborations, and people that steered us toward a more digital, equitable future in 2023.
